Mid Wales Opera 2012 Opera Canolbarth Cymru 2012
Mid Wales Opera will be bringing Mozart’s Don Giovanni to Newtown later this year, in a brand new production. Tickets will be on sale from April and the production will tour throughout the Autumn
This heart-warming participatory project continues throughout 2012 with 3 more residencies across Wales. In collaboration with our partners and funders, The Arts Council of Wales, the Colwinston Trust and Size of Wales, MWO will be working with hundreds of children, young people and amateur musicians to produce Benjamin Britten’s superbly conceived community opera. To see what others have thought of the 2 residencies so far take a look at this film made following our Aberystwyth and Brecon projects.

PATRONS’ CIRCLE
Mid Wales Opera reaches more than ten thousand people across the UK every year, travelling some five thousand miles to get to those places that other opera companies do not reach! We bring the very best opera in accessible, entertaining and high quality productions to theatre across the country, offering many people their only opportunity to experience the “real thing” in a venue close to home.
Achieving all this costs: almost 0.5million every year… We are fortunate to have a broad network of supporters, from the Arts Councils of Wales and England, trusts and foundations, to Friends and sponsors: testament to the quality, integrity and value of our work. Work we couldn't do without your help.
Please join us.
By joining our Patrons’ Circle, you can help us to cover these thousands of miles and quite literally keep this show on the road.
