Alex began his musical journey at age 7 as a chorister in Guildford Cathedral Choir. He read English at King’s College London before training at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Roles include Zaretsky Eugene Onegin and Roberto/Ensemble The Elixir of Love (Wild Arts Opera), Father Hansel und Gretel (Opera Kipling), Zuniga Carmen (Arcadian Opera), Mr Gedge Albert Herring, Hildebrand/North Wind The Enchanted Pig, and Surgeon Banished (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire). Alex is passionate about the power of musical education and delivers outreach to children and adults regularly with programmes like RBC’s LEAP Ensemble, Welsh National Opera’s ‘Opera Tutti’, the vocal ensemble Horizon Voices, and with Wild Arts Opera.
