Charlotte Badham is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music. Recent engagements include Olga Eugene Onegin, Cherubino Le Nozze di Figaro and Jo March Little Women for Opera Holland Park. Whilst at college, her roles included Hansel Hansel and Gretel, for which she received The Eunice Pettigrew Prize, Hippolyta A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Willie Street Scene and Léonie La Vie Parisienne. Since graduating, Charlotte has also played Cretan Woman Idomeneo (Buxton Festival Opera) as well as being a chorister with BFO, and Garsington Opera on the Alvarez Young Artist programme.
Only a few months ago we thought Mid Wales Opera was finished. Now, thanks to a funding lifeline from Powys County Council, we are within touching distance of having a sustainable plan to keep on producing live and local opera across Wales for at least three years.
