David is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His roles include the title role Candide (Iford), John The Travelling Companion (New Sussex Opera), Henry Crawford Mansfield Park (Waterperry Opera), Vanderdendur/King Theodore/Grand Inquisitor Candide (West Green House), Moon/King of the East The Enchanted Pig (Hampstead Garden Opera), The Lover/Friend/Preacher The Vanishing Bridegroom (BYO), Eisenstein Die Fledermaus and Tristan Le Vin Herbé (RCS Opera), and multiple roles in English Eccentrics for BYO. This season has already seen David sing Gravedigger 1 in ETO’s The Silver Lake, alongside the critically-acclaimed CD release of his performance in Stanford’s The Travelling Companion (Somm Recordings).
