Biography

Welsh soprano Elin Pritchard is a graduate of the RCS, RWCMD and NOS. Operatic roles include Female Chorus The Rape of Lucretia, Miss Jessel The Turn of the Screw, Lucia di Lammermoor, Anne Trulove The Rake’s Progress, Contessa, Fiordiligi and Donna Elvira. Recent and future engagements include Nedda, Pagliacci, Kupava The Snow Maiden and Mary The Women of Whitechapel (Opera North), Marie Daughter of the Regiment (Buxton Festival), Tatyana Eugene Onegin and Violetta La traviata (Den Jyske Opera), Alice Falstaff and Manon Manon Lescaut (The Grange Festival), Ofglen The Handmaid’s Tale and Musetta La bohème (ENO) and Micaëla Carmen (WNO). She recently sang the title role Tosca for MWO. Concert engagements include Beethoven Symphony No. 9 (Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra), Brahms Requiem (Ulster Orchestra) and Verdi Requiem (Snape Maltings).
