Luke graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2019. Since then, Luke has been freelancing around the UK and beyond. He is a deputy on the UK tour of Disney’s The Lion King as well as the UK Tour and West End Production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. As well as this Luke plays regularly with his chamber group Quartet 19 and jazz ensemble Freshly Cut Grass performing and touring across Wales and England. Luke was a deputy on the 2019 Mid Wales Opera tour of Mrs Peachum’s Guide to Love and Marriage and looks forward to returning to perform with Mid Wales Opera again.
Only a few months ago we thought Mid Wales Opera was finished. Now, thanks to a funding lifeline from Powys County Council, we are within touching distance of having a sustainable plan to keep on producing live and local opera across Wales for at least three years.
