Mark, from Sudbury in Suffolk, has sung at the Royal Opera House, Opera North and Scottish Opera. He performed and recorded the role of Ben Budge (Beggars Opera) with the City of London Sinfonia and Royal Opera. At English National Opera he took the roles of Zurga (Pearlfishers), Pizarro (Fidelio) and Lepidus/Mereia (Caligula). Other roles include Bottom (Midsummer Night’s Dream) at Longborough Festival Opera, Lockit (Beggar’s Opera) for Opera Project also Scarpia (Tosca) and Rigoletto for Heritage Opera.
Future engagements include Carmina Burana at Snape Maltings on April 7th.
