Welsh baritone John Ieuan Jones is a graduate of the RNCM. Recent roles include Papageno The Magic Flute (Wild Arts), Maximilian Candide (WNO) and lead baritone The Butterfly House (Clonter Opera). Earlier this year he toured with English Touring Opera, performing as Theo The Vanishing Forest, covering Capellio I Capuleti e i Montecchi, and directing their outreach projects. He recently sang Fossoyeur Hamlet at the Buxton International Festival. Ieuan made his National Theatre debut in The Corn is Green and toured the UK in West End Musicals with London Concertante. He is currently part of MWO’s schools workshop team. Offstage, he enjoys riding his motorbike through the Welsh hills. Previously for MWO: Claudio Beatrice & Benedict.
