Dafydd was a Welsh National Opera Associate Artist for the 2022/23 Season and studied at the Royal College of Music, graduating with distinction in his Master of Performance. Recent highlights include Don José La Tragédie de Carmen (Wexford Festival Opera), La Rose L’isola d’Alcina (Bampton Classical Opera), cover Alfred Die Fledermaus (The Grange Festival), cover Steuerman The Flying Dutchman (Welsh National Opera) and First Priest / First Armed Man The Magic Flute (West Green House Opera). Other roles with WNO include Stronjek The Makropulos Affair, the Agent Blaze of Glory and Captain/Crook Candide. Recently for MWO: Assassin and cover Malcolm Macbeth.
