Irish mezzo soprano, trained at the RSAMD & the YAP of OTC Dublin. During 2010/11 Carolyn was Associate Artist at WNO and from 2012-2014 was a soloist at the Luzern Theatre, Switzerland.
Future engagements – Smeton/ Anna Bolena at LFO, WNO concerts Dubai & London, The Witch INO 2020 & Valkyrie LfO 2020/23. Release of Ethel Smythes CD Fete Gallante (retrospect opera), NI BBC tv appearance with Ulster Orchestra. She established the Northern Irish Song Project & recorded the CD ‘Calen-o’ of songs from the North of Ireland with Iain Burnside and DelphianRecords and BBC Radio3 Recitals.
