Music for a Summer Evening at Powis Castle and Garden

Mid Wales Opera are delighted to invite you to the stunning setting of Powis Castle and Garden for a very special evening of music under the summer night sky, in association with the National Trust.

Our wonderful soloists – soprano Mari Wyn Williams, mezzo-soprano Rebecca Afonwy-Jones, tenor Robyn Lyn Evans, and baritone Mark Nathan will be joined by celebrated Welsh harpist Elfair Grug and MWO’s Music Director and pianist Jonathan Lyness.

Together they will perform a glorious selection of songs, arias, and ensembles, spanning the great composers – Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, Strauss, and Lehár alongside favourites from Rodgers and Hammerstein and a rich mix of traditional Welsh, English, and Italian music. This promises to be a magical evening not to be missed!
